Position Summary
BrightStar Care Technology is seeking a Product Manager to support clinical product capabilities across the BrightStar Care network. This role works alongside Engineering and UX Design to help modernize clinical workflows, streamline care documentation, and improve operational processes while translating clinical needs, compliance considerations, and business priorities into clear product direction from discovery through launch.

This role works alongside Engineering and UX Design to help modernize clinical workflows, streamline care documentation, and improve operational processes while translating clinical needs, compliance considerations, and business priorities into clear product direction from discovery through launch.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of product strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals and market trends.
- Collaborate with Engineering, UX Design, Program Management, clinical partners, and business stakeholders to ensure product planning, execution, and go-to-market strategies reflect real healthcare workflows.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
- Monitor product KPIs and metrics to evaluate product performance and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Engage regularly with clinical stakeholders and end users to gather feedback and translate clinical workflows, compliance needs, and business priorities into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and expected system behavior.
- Support backlog grooming, scope clarification, defect triage, QA validation, and release readiness in partnership with cross-functional partners.
- Support pilot programs, phased rollouts, change management, user adoption, stakeholder communications, and post-release iteration for clinical product capabilities.

Compensation & Work Environment
Salary Range: $120,000–$130,000 annually
The salary range listed reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and other job-related considerations.
Base salary is one component of our overall compensation package, which may also include performance-based incentives, benefits, paid time off, and other offerings depending on the position and eligibility.
This position is hybrid (1-2 days/week in the Bannockburn, IL office) and requires up to 5% travel.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of product management experience in software, technology, or a related product environment.
- Proven ability to translate business goals, user needs, clinical workflows, and technical constraints into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready documentation.
- Experience working within Agile product development environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and product insights to guide prioritization.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across clinical, business, product, and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with clinical tools and workflows, including EMRs/EHRs, care documentation, patient records, or care planning tools.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory considerations, including HIPAA, patient privacy, and compliance needs.
