Tired of being stuck in the office all day?    Want to get paid while driving around?  Home healthcare needs you.    We pay $90/hr per visit, $100/hr per eval, and $50/hr for meetings. 
Come join our team, as we are working with a world-renowned hospital, part of an innovative Hospital at Home program.  

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patient according to a physician’s written orders. This may include, but is not limited to the following: 

    •  Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status 

    •  Develop a plan of care and treatment making sure plan of care is consistent with assessment.  

    •  Teach/educate client in the use of prosthetic device 

    • Assist in identifying client and family/caregiver needs for other home health 

  • Occupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications: 
    • Master’s Degree in therapy from an accredited therapy program.   
    • Passed a National Therapy Examination and/or state examination as required by the state regulation. 
    • Two (2) years of appropriate experience as a therapist. Community/home health experience, preferred. 


Skills & Qualifications

EDUCATION 

  • Graduated from an occupational therapy program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) 

  • Successfully completed a period of supervised fieldwork experience required 

  • Passed a nationally recognized examination for occupational therapists 

  • Licensed, certified, or registered to practice as an occupational therapist as required by state law in which practice occurs. 

 

SKILLS/ABILITIES  

  •  Abide by the Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics (AOTA, 2005a) 

  •  Knowledgeable about and will deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with AOTA standards 

  •  Two (2) years of appropriate experience as an occupational therapist. 

  •  Strong interpersonal skills.
