Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Infusion Therapy | Part Time
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion to join our home health and infusion therapy team. The RN will provide high-quality IV therapy, monitor patient responses, and deliver exceptional one-to-one care in the comfort of patients’ homes.
This role is ideal for an RN with experience in infusion, home health, skilled nursing, senior care, or acute care who is comfortable working independently and managing a variety of infusion treatments.
Key Responsibilities
Administer intravenous (IV) medications and home infusion therapies following clinical protocols
Monitor patients for adverse reactions, infusion tolerance, and treatment effectiveness
Perform and document comprehensive nursing assessments
Manage PICC lines, ports, midlines, and peripheral IVs (PIV)
Perform lab draws, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication administration, and self-care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to implement patient-centered care plans
Ensure safe, clean, and compliant care environments during treatment
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
Perform triage assessments to determine patient needs and urgency
Infusion Therapies May Include
Chemo Infusions
IV antibiotics
IVIG / Immunoglobulins
Alpha-1 antitrypsin therapy
Enzyme replacement therapies
Hydration therapy
Other specialty infusion medications
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Strong IV therapy and infusion experience (home infusion preferred)
Competency with PICC, port, PIV, and midline care
Experience in home health, senior care, or skilled nursing is a plus
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in the home setting and manage diverse patient needs
