BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospital at Home team. If you have a background in Acute Care, Emergency Room (ER), ICU, Med Surge, IV Therapy, and/or Wound Care, we want to hear from you. This role provides high-quality nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes, helping them safely recover while avoiding or reducing hospital stays.
Flexible Scheduling: Days, evenings, weekends, holidays, full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities available.
BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospital at Home team. If you have a background in Acute Care, Emergency Room (ER), ICU, Med Surge, IV Therapy, and/or Wound Care, we want to hear from you. This role provides high-quality nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes, helping them safely recover while avoiding or reducing hospital stays.

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to Hospital at Home patients
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Start and maintain IVs and administer prescribed therapies
- Perform wound care and dressing changes
- Recognize and communicate changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with all HIPAA, regulatory, and quality standards

- Current, unrestricted Illinois RN license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Recent Experience in Acute Care, ER, ICU, Med Surge, IV Therapy, and/or Wound Care within the last year or more
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills
- Drivers License, reliable transportation and auto insurance
- Ability to pass background screening
- Home Health or Hospital at Home experience
- Peripheral IV insertion and maintenance
- Infusion therapy experience
- Wound Care certification or advanced wound care experience
- BSN preferred
